Delhi Budget 2026 – 27 Concentrate on Well-being, Facilities
Delhi Chief Priest Rekha Gupta presented a 1, 03, 700 crore budget prioritizing citizen welfare and framework growth for the National Resources Territory.
- LPG Subsidy: 260 crore allocated for two cost-free LPG cyndrical tubes per home, timed for Holi and Diwali.
- Infrastructure Increase: Significant investments include 5, 921 crore for the Public Works Division, 7, 887 crore for metropolitan growth, and 1, 352 crore for dust-free roads.
- Municipal Assistance: The Local Corporation of Delhi receives 11, 666 crore in designated funds.
- Eco-friendly Initiatives: 200 crore has been designated for the removal of overhanging electrical wiring.
- Water Administration: 9, 000 crore has been assigned for water and sewer administration.
