Six Missing Out On After Watercraft Capsizes in Yamuna River
Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh– A watercraft capsized in the Yamuna River near Kutubpur Patiya Wednesday evening, leaving 6 people missing, consisting of youngsters. Three people were rescued by the boatman.
- Case: Boat capsized around 7 PM on May 6 th, 2026
- Victims: Six missing, including Akanksha (9, Rani (9, Brijrani (25, Labhyansh (5, Mahesh (6, and Aditya (11 3 rescued: Vishnu, Rinku, and Parul.
- Response: NDRF and SDRF groups are carrying out search and rescue operations.
- Examination: Chief Minister Adityanath ordered an examination and directed support to impacted families.
