Thousands of trips were interrupted Monday as a winter season tornado relocated eastward, snarling flight in the eastern united state
By 5:45 p.m. ET, greater than 6,900 united state trips were postponed while extra 2,130 were terminated, according to trip tracker FlightAware.
The tornado, which was relocating from the Ohio Valley to the mid-Atlantic, was readied to unload as long as a foot of snow in the Washington, D.C., location, though winter extended via the southerly united state, according to government forecasters.
