Grateful Dead establishing participant and bassist Phil Lesh passed away Friday early morning, according to an article on his authorities Instagram account.
The California indigenous and rock tale was 84.
Lesh “passed peacefully” while bordered by household, according to the article to his Instagram.
“Phil brought immense joy to everyone around him and leaves behind a legacy of music and love,” the article read. “We request that you respect the Lesh family’s privacy at this time.”
