Pastor implicated of placing recording gadget in ex-wife’s Summit home punished to probation


A Lutheran priest implicated of growing a recording gadget in the home of his currently ex-wife was punished on Tuesday to offer a year of probation after begging guilty to an offense matter of having a tool of criminal activity.

Thomas M. Glasoe, 49, begged guilty to the cost, which was changed from a third-degree felony matter of obstruct interactions, prior to Erie County Judge John J. Mead on Tuesday early morning. Prosecutors kept in mind prior to punishing that the cost lugs an optimum fine of 5 years behind bars, yet they did not challenge a probationary sentence.

Glasoe, in his remarks to the court, called the case the darkest minute of his their adult years, and stated he was not assuming right. He included that he is resolving psychological wellness concerns.

The Pennsylvania State Police implicated Glasoe of growing the recording gadget in the bed room of his previous partner’s Summit Township home in September 2023. A cannon fodder that mosted likely to the home and was provided grant browse it located the gadget concealed over a panel in the bed room, and later on validated the gadget included recordings of the lady talking, private investigators created in Glasoe’s criminal grievance.

At the moment Glasoe was butted in October 2023, he was priest of Messiah Lutheran Church in Wesleyville and was put on management leave with pay, according to a letter from the diocesan that was resolved to the church’s parish and check out throughout a worship soon after the costs were submitted.
