New Jersey law enforcement officer runs over lady relaxing at Wildwood coastline


A female relaxing at a coastline in Wildwood, New Jersey, was apparently run over by a law enforcement officer throughout a fanatic mishap recently.

The event occurred on Wednesday mid-day, according to the Star-Ledger Wildwood Police Chief Joseph Murphy informed the Press of Atlantic City that the event entailed among the division’s Ford F-150 pickup.

The sufferer, whose name was not launched by authorities, experienced busted ribs, 3 broken vertebrae and a lung injury, according to WPVI-TV, which mentioned the sufferer’s guy.

Murphy claimed the police officer driving the pick-up was replying to a statute infraction when the mishap occurred.

“The officer was down there in performance of his duties on a call for service,” the cops principal claimed. “Horrifically, he ran over a victim who was lying on the beach.”

Murphy included that the sufferer was checking out Wildwood while vacationing in advance of Labor Day weekend break.

“There was a lot of help from people on the beach,” the cops principal included. “The civilians on the beach did an incredible job.”

A spectator called Rose Simone informed WPVI-TV that fellow beachgoers worried when the pick-up ran over the lady.

“Everybody was gathering around screaming, yelling at the person in the truck, ‘Stop! There’s somebody under your truck! You hit somebody!'” the Chalfont, Pa., resident remembered.

“A bunch of guys came around that were in the area, and they said we have to lift the truck, the front of the truck, to get her out,” Simone proceeded.

Simone informed the Star-Ledger that she saw the lady prior to the event occurred. The sufferer was using dark garments while pushing a coastline towel.

“It was an accident, clearly, but one that probably could have been avoided,” she included.

The sufferer is anticipated to make it through.
