Mountain lion appears to be ‘seeing stars’ after canine proprietor kicks it


A male strolling his lap dog in Boulder, Colorado, on Thursday evening was faced by a hill lion that evidently saw the canine as its following dish.

The cougar went across the road and strolled towards Juan Gutierrez, that was strolling his 14-year-old Pomeranian mix called Riley, as reported by KDVR.

“I’m pretty sure he (Riley) thought it was another dog,” Gutierrez informed KDVR in an on-camera meeting. “I yelled to stay back, and I yelled it four to five times and nothing, the cat doesn’t hesitate.”

With the hill lion still coming close to, Gutierrez attempted another thing.

“I just flashed a light at its face and once it was too distracted, I kicked him,” he claimed. “He looked at me and then he looked up towards the sky. I don’t know if he was seeing stars or something.”

Gutierrez after that gradually pulled back with the canine, and without more occurrence.

Gutierrez is encouraged it coincides hill lion that was reported strolling the roads a half-mile away 2 evenings prior to.

While inside his vehicle, Evan Price caught video clip of that cougar walking near 16 th and Iris Avenue, as reported by KDVR.

That hill lion seemed hopping. Some presume it was looking for a very easy dish, in this instance Riley.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife informed KDVR that its workers were not able to situate the hill lion after the experience with the guy and his canine.

For Riley, it was one more survival tale. The canine has actually formerly made it through a black bear strike, a pet dog strike, and cancer cells. And currently, a possible hill lion strike.
