A team of Jewish pupils at the University of Pittsburgh was purportedly assaulted with a glass container, leaving 2 pupils wounded, the college revealed.
According to a statement from the Pennsylvania university, pupils were assaulted near the Cathedral of Learning, a prime focus on the Pittsburgh school, around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Two pupils were wounded in the strikes. The pupils, that were putting on typical Jewish yarmulkes, were dealt with at the scene, the college claimed.

The declared wrongdoer, the college claimed, had no well-known college association and was promptly jailed by Pitt Police.
The suspect was putting on a kaffiyeh, a conventional checkered headscarf put on in the Middle East and progressively showed as a sign of uniformity with Palestinians.
University leaders touched with the Hillel University Center along with the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
The college condemned the strike, calling it “appalling.”
“To be clear: Neither acts of violence nor antisemitism will be tolerated,” the declaration claimed.”Local and federal partners are supporting Pitt Police in this ongoing investigation.”
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro claimed “antisemitism and hate-fueled violence of any kind has no place” in the neighborhood.
“No matter what you look like, where you come from, or who you do or do not pray to, you deserve to feel safe on your campus here in Pennsylvania,” Shapiro posted on X. “As an investigation proceeds, let me be clear: antisemitism and hate-fueled violence of any kind has no place in our Commonwealth.

Antisemitism has been on the rise in the U.S. since the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, when terrorists invaded Israel and killed approximately 1,200. More than 240 others were taken hostage.
