LAS LAS VEGA (KLAS)– Flames and smoke were seen originating from an airplane that made a tough touchdown at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Saturday mid-day.
Frontier Flight 1326 landed in Las Vegas around 3:40 p.m. after âThe pilots detected smoke and declared an emergency,â a speaker for Frontier Airlines verified to CBS News.
The airplane landed securely and all travelers and team were left. No injuries were reported and the travelers were bussed to the incurable.
The trip left San Diego at 1:51 p.m. and landed in Las Vegas at 3:37 p.m., according to Flight Aware.
Video uploaded to social media sites revealed fires and smoke rippling from below the aircraft as it landed atReid Internation Airport Fire staffs were seen on the path combating the fire as smoke remained to fill up the surrounding location.
