Break- ins at uninhabited ‘for sale’ homes have Albuquerque brokers and real estate professionals worried

So we do know that these types of burglaries happen,” stated Franchesca Perdue, interactions expert for the Albuquerque Police Department.

Malm is alerting next-door neighbors that if there is an uninhabited home close by watch. “But if they’re completely unidentified as somebody that looks like they would have a reason to be there and they’re not there with somebody that you find is familiar with the property, then it may be worth calling at least the listing broker or somebody that owns the property,” stated Malm.

APD suggests that if somebody is marketing their home to examine back on it regularly or to have somebody remain in the home that you can rely on. They additionally stated to allow next-door neighbors recognize and to inquire to look at the building too and deal with the real estate professional to safeguard the home while they are away.
