American Airlines steward accepted a five-year labor bargain, finishing among the market’s most controversial agreement settlements and offering cabin staffs greater than 20% elevates at the beginning of October.
Eighty- 7 percent of the American Airlines steward that elected accepted the agreement, the union claimed Thursday, soon after surveys shut.
“This contract marks a significant milestone for our Flight Attendants, providing immediate wage increases of up to 20.5%, along with significant retroactive pay to address time spent negotiating,” Julie Hedrick, head of state of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants, which stands for the service provider’s 28,000 cabin staff participants.
