GARY Rowett was pleased with what he saw from Ole Romeny after the onward made his initial beginning for Oxford United.
Romeny came off the bench on 4 events before being handed a beginning at West Bromwich Albion.
The 24-year-old revealed some wonderful touches, yet a great deal of his job was done from much deeper locations and not in or around the charge box as the U’s battled to enter into hazardous settings.
United appreciated much less than 40 percent ownership, and handled simply 5 shots, none of which got on target, while amounting to just 10 touches inside the Baggies charge location.

U’s head instructor Rowett stated: “I thought it was similar to when he came on the other day. He showed some bright bits of quality and some little moments where he looked like he gave us a little bit of control in that forward area.
“We had to move him around positionally just because of the needs of the game and some of the changes that we made.
“We couldn’t quite get him into those goalscoring positions, but I thought there were some really promising moments, just like there’s been in training also.”
