Sir Keir Starmer met Republican governmental prospect Donald Trump on Thursday after the previous head of state defined him as “very nice”.

Mr Trump applauded Sir Keir in advance of the conference, defining him as “very nice” and “very popular”, while likewise pointing out Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.
