KAA’s 2nd open day increases understanding on autism

KUCHING (Sept 9): The 2nd Kuching Autistic Association (KAA) Open Day, themed ‘Segulai Sejalai, Salam Autisme’, was efficiently held below on Sept 7.

KAA in a declaration claimed the program offered to notify and elevate understanding regarding autism in addition to the programs provided by the organization.

“This program additionally gives chances for youngsters, teens and grownups with autism to display their skills and capacities via music efficiencies, paint, inventions, food and beverage prep work and various other tasks.

“It also opens up opportunities for educators, parents, KAA strategic partners and the local community to be friendly with each other and share their experiences in the autism community,” it claimed.

Additionally, a rundown on the Takaful Insurance Scheme for the Disabled existed by FWD Takaful Malaysia.

“This insurance scheme is much needed by parents who have disabled children, but cannot apply for insurance,” it included.

During the Open Day, numerous tasks and events were held, consisting of arts and crafts, Garden Farm Project, picture cubicle, KAA program info exhibit, and KAA Autism Art Gallery.

Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang was the visitor of honour at the occasion.
