IAF Tejas Airplane Damaged in Path Tour

A Tejas Light Combat Airplane (LCA) of the Indian Flying Force (IAF) continual considerable damages after overshooting a path at a frontline airbase on February 7 th.

  • Incident: The aircraft experienced a suspected brake failing upon returning from a training sortie.
  • Damages: Significant architectural damage was inflicted on the airframe.
  • Pilot: The pilot expelled safely and was unscathed.
  • History: This notes the third accident involving the Tejas because its 2015 induction; the second took place in November 2025 throughout an aerial display screen at the Dubai Airshow, in which the pilot shed his life.

The IAF has not yet provided an official declaration. The Tejas, designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), is a multi-role competitor aircraft. The IAF currently operates 30 Tejas jets.
