Speaker Johnson Refuses To Play Ball When Asked About Trump’s Bizarre Arnold Palmer Penis Banter


Jake Tapper could not obtain a straight solution from House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) when he asked him Donald Trump’s current rally riff regarding golf enthusiast Arnold Palmer’s penis on Sunday’s episode of “State of the Union.”

During a rally in Palmer’s Pennsylvania home town on Saturday, the previous head of state went on a 10-minute ramble which finished with him applauding the PGA legend’s intimate makeup.

The CNN host advised Johnson that political election day is quickly coming close to and asked if citizens actually wished to find out about Palmer’s personal components as the Republican’s shutting message.

Johnson skirted Tapper’s inquiry, informing him the actual concern is if citizens are “better off now” than when Trump remained in workplace.

“Look at the record of these two candidates,” he claimed. “This shouldn’t be about personalities. It should be about policy.”

Though the audio speaker attempted to disperse, Tapper continued.

“I’m sure that you think that a policy debate would be better than a personality debate, but if President Biden had gone onstage and spoke about the size of a pro golfer’s penis, I think you would be on this show right now saying you were shocked and appalled, and you would suggest it was evidence of his cognitive decline,” he informed Johnson.

“I know you want to talk about policy, and I respect that,” Tapper proceeded, rotating back to problems regarding Trump’s “fitness, his acuity and his stability.”

Again, he asked Johnson, “Why is he talking about Arnold Palmer’s penis in front of Pennsylvania voters?”

After a little to and fro, Johnson unwillingly yielded.

“I’ll address it. Let me answer it. OK. Don’t say it again,” the plainly uneasy audio speaker informed Tapper, prior to disregarding the Palmer penis remarks as simple “lines in a rally.”

“You can cherry pick a few words or lines out of a two-hour event,” he later on included, after that slamming Democratic prospect Kamala Harris’ interaction design as “word salads.”

“We all know that the facts, the American people see it and, you know, the media can pick it apart, but people are going to vote,” the Louisiana lawmaker took place. “They’re going to vote what’s best for their family. And they see that in Trump.”

Elsewhere in the meeting, Johnson attempted to minimize Trump’s current remarks regarding thinking about releasing the armed force versus a Democratic “enemy within.”

Painting Trump as the target, he called the previous head of state “the most attacked, maligned political figure in U.S. history” and claimed he was just recommending the National Guard be made use of to maintain “peace in our streets.”

“Look, Trump is talking about restoring law and order,” the audio speaker claimed, taking place to identify the Republican’s remarks as social media sites small talk and “fun language.”
