Attorney General Pam Bondi swore to pursue much more courts hours after a Wisconsin court was jailed for apparently assisting an undocumented immigrant avert apprehension.
“What’s happened to our judiciary is beyond me,” Bondi claimed Friday on Fox News, calling courts like the jailed Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan “deranged.”
“We’re sending a very strong message today,” she proceeded. “If you are harboring a fugitive, we don’t care who you are. If you are helping hide one, if you are giving a [gang] member guns, anyone who is illegally in this country, we will come after you, and we will prosecute you. We will find you.”
Friday’s apprehension originates from an April 18 occurrence in which united state Immigration and Customs Enforcement policemans gone into Dugan’s court house with a warrant to apprehend Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico that remained in court for 3 offense matters about a March 12 battle.
FBI Director Kash Patel declared in a declaration Friday that Dugan assisted Flores-Ruiz avert apprehension.
“We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject ― an illegal alien ― to evade arrest,” Patel published on social media sites.
