Conservative lawyer George Conway assumes Donald Trump’s management will certainly continue to be undeterred by the installing reaction– even from fellow Republicans— to its swingeing cuts to the federal government.
“My guess is that they just want to burn it all down,” Conway, a strong movie critic of the head of state regardless of his ex-wife Kellyanne Conway’s connections to Trump, claimed on MSNBC Tuesday of the tried lowering of public investing and tasks which is being bought by the Elon Musk- run Department of Government Efficiency.
“I don’t see any rationality in what they’re doing other than that it is a performative attack on the government and it is an attempt to destroy what they perceive to be as the enemy, which is the very government that they are charged with administering,” he proceeded.
“And that’s the only way to explain almost everything this administration has done,” Conway included.
Trump basically “wants to have revenge on the United States of America” and does not in fact care “about what anything does,” the attorney said.
