Former Rep Joe Walsh (R-Ill) alerted that President Donald Trump really feels “untouchable” which there’s no informing what he might try do next off.
“The biggest failure of all of us during this Trump era has been the failure of imagination,” Walsh informed MSNBC’s Michael Steele onSunday “We have not imagined how bad and how low he’d go. He tried to overthrow an American election four years ago. I have no doubt that he could try to stop the midterm elections.”
Steele, previous chair of the Republican National Committee, stated Trump “sees himself as a king” which the Republican Party concurs. He summarized completely GOP legislators are “lining up to pay tribute” to Trump, with propositions to put his face on U.S. currency, make his birthday a federal holiday, and include his cupto Mount Rushmore Sen. Lindsey Graham also backed an unconstitutional third term in workplace for Trump.
Walsh alerted customers to take it all seriously, consisting of broach a 3rd term.
“It’s too easy to have fun with this,” he stated. “But Michael, this is scary shit.”
Later in the meeting, Walsh included that Trump really feels pushed considered that he’s never ever encountered repercussions of what he’s done.
“Look at all he’s gotten away with, and no one’s ever held him accountable,” he stated. “And here he sits in the White House, he’s got no legislative branch to worry about, the Republican Party is his. Who’s gonna stop him? The courts? The people? He feels untouchable right now.”
He alerted that Trump might next off resist a Supreme Court order.
“And then what does the Republican Party do?” he asked.
