TORONTO (Reuters) – A united state court ruled on Friday for Meta Platform Inc’s WhatsApp in a claim charging Israel’s NSO Group of manipulating an insect in the WhatsApp messaging application to mount spy software application enabling the monitoring of 1,400 individuals, consisting of reporters, civils rights lobbyists and objectors.
Judge Phyllis Hamilton, of Northern District of California, provided WhatsApp’s activity for recap judgment and located NSO Group responsible for hacking and violation of agreement, according to court files.
