TAIPEI (Reuters) – Taiwan’s scientific research ministry alerted on Friday that financing for locations such as semiconductors, AI and aerospace can be lowered by T$ 20 billion ($ 609.11 million) for following year after resistance celebrations passed legislations calling for cuts to financial and modern technology investing. Taiwan’s resistance celebrations, which hold a bulk in parliament, passed regulations recently to reroute investing from the main federal government to regional communities, a relocation highly opposed by the judgment Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and countless militants.
