MOSCOW (Reuters) – Sanctions enforced by the United States on Russia’s third biggest lending institution Gazprombank, which deals with the power profession, lag the rouble’s complimentary autumn in current days, a magnate from VTB, Russia’s second biggest financial institution, stated on Wednesday.
“My assumption is that the sanctions against Gazprombank have had a significant impact, as it has ceased to be a channel for delivering foreign currency to the Moscow Exchange,” Dmitry Pyanov informed press reporters.
Pyanov included that stabilisation of the foreign exchange market within the following couple of days ought to be the emphasis of the reserve bank’s interest.
