EU fines Meta $840.24 million over abusive practices benefiting Facebook Marketplace


BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Commission on Thursday fined Meta Platforms (META) €797.72 million ($840.24 million) over abusive practices benefiting Facebook Marketplace, it mentioned in a press release, confirming an earlier report by Reuters.

Meta mentioned in a press release that it’ll enchantment the choice, including that the EU has provided no proof of hurt to rivals or shoppers.
