Denmark’s DSV wins 14 billion-euro race for Deutsche Bahn’s Schenker, resources claim


BERLIN (Reuters) – Danish logistics firm DSV won the race to acquire Schenker, the rail logistics arm of German state train Deutsche Bahn, resources at the train and at the German federal government claimed.

The resources claimed an initial agreement for the deal, worth some 14 billion euros, would certainly be checked in coming days. The bargain needs to be authorized by DB’s managerial board, made up primarily, however not solely of federal government, legislative and union reps.
