BEIJING (Reuters) – The Chinese federal government “has never and will never” call for firms or people to accumulate information for or give information to it in a manner that goes against the legislation, China’s international ministry stated on Friday.
The ministry spoksperson was replying to an inquiry concerning 6 Chinese firms consisting of TikTok, Shein, Xiaomi, which have actually been called in a personal privacy issue submitted by Austrian campaigning for team Noyb asserting the companies were unjustifiably sending out European Union individual information to China.
