(Reuters) – Canadian organized labor Unifor prolonged its due date for agreement settlements with General Motors on Tuesday, avoiding a strike at the plant in Ingersoll, Ontario that makes electrical automobiles and batteries.
The due date for getting to an offer got on Tuesday and the Unifor Local 88 had actually formerly claimed that 97% of its more-than-1,300 participants remained in favour of quiting working at the CAMI plant if an offer was not gotten to.
