23andMe cuts 40% of its labor force


(Reuters) – Genetic screening company 23andMe claimed on Monday it is lowering its total head count by over 200 staff members or concerning 40% of the labor force, as component of a restructuring program.

The firm anticipates annualized expense financial savings of greater than $35 million as an outcome of the restructuring.
