Kolkata: Agitating younger medical professionals on Thursday declared that designers were eliminating camping tents, bamboo shafts and stand followers from the demonstration website before Swasthya Bhawan after they were supposedly pressurised by the authorities to do so.
The authorities, nonetheless, refuted these claims as unjustified.
The agitating medical professionals claimed that around twelve o’clock at night, designers, that had themselves gave away tarpaulin, beds, camping tents and stand followers, were seen eliminating those from the sit-in website outside the state health and wellness division head office in Salt Lake.
A younger medical professional asserted that there was complication when designers started opening up the camping tents, yet they were guaranteed that these things would certainly be changed quickly.
“All arrangements for the sit-in are being funded by the public. Some decorators volunteered to provide us with tents, fans, bamboo shafts, and makeshift beds. When we contacted them about why they were taking down the items, they said they would replace these soon as they needed to use these items for making Durga Puja marquees,” a younger medical professional claimed on Wednesday evening.
However, on Thursday mid-day, the younger medical professionals asserted that the designers were eliminating products under stress from the authorities.
