New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday urged the army management to be prepared to get used to swiftly transforming geopolitical difficulties and chances, highlighting the value of a ‘whole-of-government’ strategy to enhance nationwide safety and security successfully. The international priest was existing at the Army Commanders’ Conference 2024.
The seminar happened at a defining moment, accompanying the current conclusion of army disengagement at 2 problem areas–Demchok and Depsang Plains– in eastern Ladakh after effective India-China patrolling contract.
“Pleased to address the Army Commanders Conference in Delhi today. Discussed the intricacies of current geopolitics, as well as its challenges, possibilities and opportunities. Urged that a more ‘whole of the Government’ approach is needed to effectively advance national security,” Jaishankar created in an article on‘X’
The exterior events priest emphasized the complicated international and geopolitical pressures impacting India and detailed what the country anticipates from its militaries. He advised for the demand for preparedness to manage the “contradictions and challenges of the current world order”, the declaration stated. The Ministry ofDefence later on released a declaration on the seminar, stating it declared the Indian Army’s unwavering dedication to preparedness and versatility, as the elderly management “resolved to accelerate ongoing transformational initiatives” and proactively add to different nationwide efforts.
Over the previous 2 days, leading authorities of the Indian Army held detailed conversations on both functional and management issues.
