Uttarakhand Waqf Board chairman Shadab Shams on Monday claimed the flow of the changed Waqf regulation in Parliament mirrored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s level of sensitivity to the predicament of bad Muslims.
Welcoming the regulation’s flow, Shams claimed, “It will rid Waqf properties from decades of encroachment by rich and influential Muslims. These properties will now come to the aid of poor Muslims.”
