The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday declined to analyze an appeal versus the visit of Delhi federal government’s Principal Secretary (Home) Ashwani Kumar as the Delhi Waqf Board manager on January 10, reported information company PTI.
A bench of Justices M M Sundresh and Rajesh Bindal asked the petitioner to transfer to the Delhi High Court.

Lieutenant Governor (LG) V K Saxena, that accepted Kumar’s visit, likewise offered the consent to the visit of IAS policeman Azimul Haque as Delhi Waqf Board’s chief executive officer on Friday.

The Delhi High Court, on May 28, rejected a comparable appeal submitted by one Yasmin Ali and enforced a penalty of Rs 10,000.
The high court stated the appeal was publicity-oriented and a misuse of the procedure of regulation as it did not provide any kind of legitimate factors for suppressing the visit of the local government policeman as the manager of the board, reported PTI.
