Thane: The Thane Central Goods and Services Tax and Central Excise commissionerate on Friday detained 3 individuals in a deceptive Input Tax Credit (ITC) noise that created a loss of Rs 40.66 crore to the exchequer, authorities stated.
Bhaven Kachiyapatel, the claimed mastermind, in addition to Dileep Bhatt and Hardik Shah played a crucial function in the rip-off, stated a launch below.
The implicated supposedly drifted 19 fake companies to get deceitful ITC of around Rs 40.66 crore, and handed down deceitful ITC of Rs 34.74 crore, it stated.
A magistrate below remanded all 3 implicated in judicial protection for 2 week. Further examination is in progress.
