The manufacturing of iron ore, manganese ore and main aluminium raised in the very first 6 months of the continuous fiscal year, federal government information revealed.
As per provisionary information, manufacturing of iron ore increased 5.5 percent to 135 million tonne (MT) in April-September FY25 over 128 MT in the year-ago duration.
Output of manganese ore raised by 6.2 percent to 1.7 MT in April-September from 1.6 MT throughout the matching duration of previous , the mines ministry claimed in a declaration.

In the non-ferrous steel field, main aluminium manufacturing in April-September increased by 1.2 percent to 20.90 lakh tonne (LT) from 20.66 LT in the year-ago duration.
“During the same comparative period, refined copper production has grown by 4.6 per cent from 2.39 LT to 2.50 LT,” the ministry claimed.
