During the procedure, authorities took 2 quintals and 65 kg of hashish hidden in a DCM vehicle in Robertsganj, while Chopan authorities recouped an extra 2 quintals and 50 kg of the unlawful compound from one more lorry.

Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra, Ashok Kumar Meena, revealed that the smugglers were carrying the contraband from Odisha to Prayagraj and Ludhiana when police interfered. “In both cases, the accused were attempting to smuggle ganja to different destinations when our teams successfully intercepted and seized the illicit cargo,” he specified.
