Maharashtra BJP MP Udayanraje Bhosale on Monday required that a memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has to be created at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, reported the PTI.
Bhosale recommended that guv’s house in Mumbai can be changed “elsewhere”.
Raj Bhavan, situated at the pointer of Malabar Hill in south Mumbai, extends 20 hectares (49 acres) and is the palace of the Maharashtra guv.
Addressing press reporters in Satara, Udayanraje Bhosale, an offspring of the Maratha king, stated the 40-acre story is excellent for the memorial and can aid stay clear of eco-friendly obstacles connected to constructing it offshore.
“Raj Bhavan can be shifted elsewhere. The site is perfect, expansive and surrounded by the sea on three sides. If the Mayor`s Bungalow can be converted into a memorial (for Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray), why not this?” the Satara MP asked, the information company reported.
