In an interview with PTI, Verma said that Nijjar was a terrorist for us but anything extra-judicial wrong in democracy and the truth must come out.
“We have never done anything covert, Canada has not shared a shred of evidence,” recalled envoy Sanjay Verma said on Nijjar killing row.
“We gave the names of Goldie Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi to Canada and suddenly Brar’s name disappeared from their wanted list,” he said.
The Indian envoy also said that Khalistani supporters in Canada are “very small” in number but they shout the loudest and gain political patronage.
