Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday claimed that the young people of India needs to root out national politics of appeasement.
Addressing the Rising Bharat Summit 2025, Shah claimed, “Appeasement is a poisonous ideology. Those indulging in appeasement are against the nation.”
Slamming the Congress, he claimed the grand old event brought adjustments to Waqf Bill to quell ballot financial institution in 2013, months prior to 2014 political elections.

Shah further expressed confidence that the BJP-led alliance will claim victory in the upcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Bihar.
Addressing the language debate, Shah stated, “I am not a Hindi speaker. I am a Gujarati. The opposition claims that I speak about Hindi. But I propagate Indian languages. I believe we need to preserve all Indian languages if we want to connect with our roots and history. Before our government, Congress imposed Hindi and English on students of all languages. We ensured that government exams are taken in regional languages as well. Students are studying medical and engineering in their regional languages.”
