‘Have faith in God’: Anant Ambani on 140-km padyatra from Jamnagar to Dwarka

“The padyatra is from our house in Jamnagar to Dwarka. It has been going on for the last five days, and we will reach in another two to four days. May Lord Dwarkadhish bless us. I urge the youth to have faith in Lord Dwarkadhish and remember Him before starting any work, as it will be completed without obstacles when God is present,” Anant Ambani mentioned while speaking to the media.

This padyatra comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Reliance Foundation’s Vantara Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, which he toured alongside Anant Ambani.

Anant started his journey from Moti Khavdi, Jamnagar and covers 10-12 kilometres every night under his Z+ security and local police protection. He will celebrate his 30th birthday on April 10 with prayers and offerings at the Dwarkadhish Temple.

This is Anant’s second visit to Dwarkadhish Temple this year. Anant visited the shrine in Gujarat in January 2025, accompanied by his father and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani. The Ambani family is widely renowned for their regular trips to the Dwarkadhish Temple, which demonstrates their strong faith.

Earlier this year, the family attended the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj and took a holy bath at the Triveni Sangam. Four generations of the Ambani family embraced spirituality and accompanied millions of people on this pilgrimage to the meeting point of the holy rivers of the Yamuna, the Ganga, and the fabled Saraswati.

Mukesh Ambani was joined by his mother, Kokilaben, sons Akash and Anant, daughters-in-law Shloka and Radhika, grandkids Prithvi and Veda, and sisters Dipti Salgaocar and Nina Kothari. The holy dip was also taken by Mukesh Ambani’s sister-in-law, Mamthaben Dalal, and mother-in-law, Poonamben Dalal. The family visited Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram, where they gave sweets and life jackets.

Anant Ambani went to the Krishna Kali Temple in Neral, Maharashtra, before his wedding to Radhika Merchant in June 2024, to perform a havan rite and seek blessings for his marriage.

“I have come here to invite the Gods and seek their blessings,” he specified.
