Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader Supriya Sule on Friday claimed she disputed the Baramati Lok Sabha political election like a “fakir” and had not been “100 per cent” certain of success.
Speaking to CNN-News 18 network, the Baramati MP claimed it is “probably unlikely” that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will certainly predict a primary pastoral face for the Maharashtra Assembly surveys due in November.
Sule, the functioning head of state of the NCP (SP)– a crucial component of the MVA– claimed the partnership will certainly make the ideal individual the principal preacher after the surveys.
On the high-stakes competition in Baramati versus her sister-in-law Sunetra Pawar, Sule claimed, “In my own election, I was 100 per cent not sure that I am going to make it because I was fighting against all odds.”
Sule claimed her event and its icon were eliminated from her, describing the split in the NCP.
“I fought like a fakir (ascetic),” Sule claimed.
Sule beat Pawar to win the Baramati Lok Sabha seat for the 4th successive time.
