Srinagar: People’s Conference head of state Sajad Lone on Monday introduced a pungent strike on Lok Sabha participant Sheikh Abdul Rashid, affirming that the latter was not behind bars for the previous 2 months.
Lone stated the timing of Rashid’s launch from the Tihar prison resembled a BJP strategy.
“This is the worst executed plan of Delhi since 1947. No plan has been so badly executed. This plan smells of BJP,” Lone informed press reporters right here.
The People’s Conference principal, that shed to Rashid, commonly called Engineer Rashid, from Baramulla in the Lok Sabha surveys previously this year, stated while he does not count on branding any individual as representative or proxy, the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) supremo must inform individuals where he was for the previous 2 months.
“He was not in jail for the past two months… He should tell people where he was,” he stated.
Lone stated whenever the Centre wishes to hold talks with a person that remains in prison, that individual is taken ill and hospitalised.
“I have seen this happen since 1991. This is not something new but the previous governments had a way of executing it. This has been badly executed, as ugly as their (BJP) ideology,” he stated.
Lone stated there “undoubtedly” is disturbance from the Centre and the regional management to affect the result of political elections.
“I appeal to them to desist from it. Please remember 1987 (assembly polls)… There won’t be a safe passage for anyone in Kupwara,” he stated.
