Doctors from Sassoon Hospital Save Passenger’s Life on IndiGo Flight from Dehradun to Pune|
A team of medical professionals from Sasson General Hospital (SGH) aboard an IndiGo trip from Dehradun to Pune conserved the life of a 35-year-old male that endured a heart attack mid-air on Wednesday.
The trip (6E 402) removed from Dehradun at 11:50 AM and was set up to land in Pune at 2:10 PM. Half an hour right into the trip, the boy broke down as a result of a cardiac arrest. The steward made a statement asking for any kind of medical professionals aboard to find onward. Fortunately, a team of medical professionals from SGH, that were returning from a research study task in Dehradun, reacted and conserved the male’s life.
Dr Aarti Avinash Kinikar, Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Sassoon Hospital, together with her employeeDr Rahul Daware,Dr Vasudha Belgamkar, andDr Surekha from Aundh Civil Hospital, supplied life-saving support.
Speaking to the Free Press Journal,Dr Kinikar claimed, “It was a very eventful journey for us from Dehradun to Pune on the IndiGo flight. One of the passengers collapsed mid-air, and our team sprang into action. The flight was diverted to Jaipur for an emergency landing to offload the resuscitated passenger. We are all back home now. This is the second time we have saved a life mid-air on an IndiGo flight. We encourage healthcare workers to get trained in Basic Life Support (BLS).”
Despite the hold-up brought on by the emergency situation touchdown, IndiGo Airlines applauded the medical professionals and expanded wholehearted thankfulness for their brave initiatives.
