Congress Distances Itself From Sam Pitroda’s ‘Threat From China’ Ramark


The Congress event on Monday distanced itself from Overseas Congress chairman Sam Pitroda’s comment in which he claimed “the threat from China is often blown out of proportion.”

In an X article, Congress basic assistant in-charge of interactions, Jairam Ramesh mentioned, “The views reportedly expressed by Mr. Sam Pitroda on China are most definitely NOT the views of the Indian National Congress.”

Highlighting the event’s depend on China, Jairam Ramesh claimed, “China remains our foremost foreign policy, external security, as well as economic challenge. The INC has repeatedly raised questions on the Modi Govt’s approach to China, including the PM’s public clean chit to it on June 19, 2020. It’s crazy how Congress always manages to keep China & Pakistan’s interests above ours!”
