Srinagar: National Conference head of state Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday claimed his event’s partnership with the Congress was not an obsession yet the requirement of the hour for growth of Jammu and Kashmir and reconstruction of statehood to the union region.

I have seen for the first time that a state has been downgraded to a union territory. This has to change and full statehood has to be restored … that is what we are trying,” he included.
