Chennai: The AIADMK will certainly participate in the cravings strike to be held by anglers in Thoothukudi area on September 9 to prompt the Central and State federal governments to take instant actions for the launch of anglers jailed by Sri Lanka, the event stated on Saturday.
Edappadi K Palaniswami, the event principal and Leader of Opposition stated that his event leaders Kadambur C Raju, SP Shanmuganathan and ST Chellapandian, all previous priests, will certainly participate in the cravings strike.
On August 5, 2024, as numerous as 22 anglers from Tharuvaikulam in Thoothukudi area were jailed by Sri Lankan authorities for supposed poaching. Two of their watercrafts were likewise taken.
Palaniswami, a previous principal priest, condemned both the State and Central federal governments over the concern.
