Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday expanded cozy dreams on the banquet of St Francis Xavier, stating it is a celebration of spiritual revival and advised individuals to promise to construct areas of love and league.
The 45-day-long decennial presentation of the spiritual antiques of St Xavier started in Goa on November 21.
A multitude of individuals collect in Goa on December 3 each year to commemorate the banquet of St Francis Xavier, the tutelary saint of the seaside state.
Sawant in his message admired the motif– ‘We are Messengers of the Good News ‘– for the austere presentation.
“We are fortunate to witness this practice of the decennial exposition of the sacred relics of St Francis Xavier. This solemn exposition held every ten years is an opportunity to introspect on the teachings of the saint and an occasion of spiritual renewal and also a time to rekindle in the hearts of the laity the desire to be the messenger of the good news,” he claimed.
The primary preacher revealed hope that the decennial presentation will certainly assist cultivate consistency amongst Goans.
“I also take this opportunity to extend my warm welcome to pilgrims for the event which will close on January 5, 2025,” he claimed.
Sawant applauded the job of the presentation board created to supervise the operating of the feature, that includes spiritual events revealing Goa’s social and spiritual tradition.
