US and China enter new race to land people on the lunar floor

NASA’s Artemis mission plan includes three phases. Artemis I launched the uncrewed Orion spacecraft across the Moon in 2022. Artemis II, deliberate for late 2025, will carry astronauts on a lunar orbit mission with out touchdown. Artemis III goals to land two astronauts, together with the primary girl and particular person of color, on the Moon’s floor.
