Tata Motors Domestic Sales In September 2024: Tata Motors Ltd on Tuesday reported 15 percent decrease in overall residential sales at 69,694 devices in September as contrasted to 82,023 devices in the year-ago month. Total traveler automobile (PV) sales in the residential market, consisting of electrical cars, stood at 41,063 devices last month as versus 44,809 devices in September 2023, down 8 percent, Tata Motors claimed in a declaration.
“The PV industry in Q2 FY25 saw more than 5 per cent decline in retails (Vahan registrations) compared to Q2 FY24 driven by slow consumer demand and seasonal factors. In contrast, industry offtake was significantly higher than registrations in anticipation of a strong start to the festive season, resulting in a continued buildup of channel stock,” Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd Managing Director, Shailesh Chandra claimed.
Total business automobile (CURRICULUM VITAE) sales in the residential market stood at 28,631 devices in September as versus 37,214 in the year-ago month, down 23 percent.
Tata Motors Ltd Executive Director Girish Wagh claimed that in the 2nd quarter of FY25, residential curriculum vitae sales went to 79,931 devices, down 19 percent from Q2 FY24 sales.

“Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles domestic sales at 79,931 units in Q2 FY25 were 19% lower than Q2 FY24 sales. Sales in September 2024 were 11% higher compared to August 2024,” he claimed.
Slowdown in facilities job implementation, decrease in mining task and a total decrease in fleet exercise as a result of hefty rainfalls impacted need, he included.

He claimed, “As we progress, with the rainfalls relieving, enhanced facilities investing, and the arrival of the cheery period increasing usage, we expect need to grab slowly in Q3, led by ILMCV and Buses, adhered to by M&HCV and SCVPU.”
