The Consumer Affairs Ministry instructed the Director General (DG) Investigation, CCPA’s investigative arm, to provoke this probe final week.

The CCPA headed by Nidhi Khare has requested the director common (DG) of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to research the matter. An order to this impact was issued on November 6, the official stated, including that the BIS DG has been requested to submit the investigation report inside 15 days.

This comes after the corporate responded to a CCPA show-cause discover on October 21, 2024.

In its response, Ola Electric claimed to have resolved 99.10 p.c of the complaints it obtained. However, the CCPA’s personal evaluate suggests in any other case, prompting the regulatory authority to dig deeper into the matter.
