Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection struck an all-time high of about Rs 2.37 lakh crore in April, noting a 12.6 percent boost year-on-year, according to federal government information launched on Thursday.
In April 2024, the GST income was Rs 2.10 lakh crore, making it the second-highest collection because the execution of the indirect tax obligation system on July 1, 2017. For contrast, the collection in March 2025 was Rs 1.96 lakh crore.
