The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs on Wednesday removed greater ex-mill cost for ethanol created from C-heavy molasses to Rs 57.97 from Rs 56.28 per litre, for the 2024-25 duration finishing October 31 this year, stated Union Information & & Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The rates for ethanol created from B hefty molasses and from sugarcane juice/ sugar/ sugar syrup were left unmodified at Rs 60.73 per litre and Rs 65.61 per litre, specifically.
Announcing the choice, Vaishnaw stated the modification of ethanol purchase cost for public market Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) for the Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2024-25 has actually been accepted.
